For the work Imagine a Situation Where the Rules of the Game Change (2012), produced in collaboration with the artist Normen Perke, Dominique Koch invited four people to discuss the boundaries and possibilities of language. The conversation was documented on video. Unmoderated and without any further instructions from the artist, the conversation is a mixture of refined chat, intellectual competition and self-dramatization on the part of the assembled speakers. The situation created by the artist often becomes the topic of conversation and prompts reflection on conventions and power and at the same time the potency of language. — Pablo Müller
